Event Highlight: “Leaders Managing Crisis during Challenging Times”
The global economy has been greatly affected by the coronavirus pandemic. As a leader, how should one manage the team to cope with the current crises?
In HKUST MIMT program, there are always ample opportunities for students to learn from great minds, and exchange ideas with other CEMS students around the globe on different controversial business topics.
Last Thursday, we were honoured to have Mrs. Christine Ip, Managing Director & CEO Great China of United Overseas Bank (UOB), to share on the topic “Leaders Managing Crisis during Challenging Times”, with 80 MIMT students and CEMS buddies from different part of the world.
Apart from having a positive mindset, Christine mentioned Trust and Empowerment as two key elements for effective leadership during COVID-19. She also shared her insights on how the banking industry should be innovated to cater for the changing demands caused by the pandemic.
