To honor exceptional candidates with remarkable potential, this merit-based scholarship is determined after an admission interview. A one-off award covering up to half of MSc Program tuition fees supports academic achievement and future success.
Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program
To foster intercultural understanding and empower aspiring leaders to invest positively in Asia's future, HKUST partners with the Bai Xian Asia Institute (BXAI) to offer the Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program (AFLSP). Non-local students from Asia pursuing a full-time MSc program may apply for the scheme, which covers partial tuition and provides stipend for studying in Hong Kong.

Dean's MSc Admission Scholarship
To honor exceptional HKUST undergraduates and final-year students with outstanding academic performance, a one-off HK$100,000 scholarship will be awarded to eligible MSc candidates, showcasing HKUST's dedication to fostering talent and excellence.

Designed as a full scholarship for outstanding students in the MSc programs. Eligible candidates must demonstrate outstanding academic performance, and those with an exceptional academic background are preferred.
MSc Diversity Excellence Scholarship
To recognize outstanding international applicants, this scholarship fosters cultural exchange and diversity within MSc Programs. A one-off award covering up to half of tuition fees supports global perspectives and inclusion.
The Belt and Road Admission Scholarship
Recognizing exceptional applicants from the Belt and Road countries, this scholarship celebrates talent and achievement with a one-off award covering up to half of MSc Program tuition fees.
*Eligible applicants admitted to the MIMT Program will be further evaluated for the scholarships based on a rigorous and holistic approach. Successful applicants will be notified by the MIMT Program Office of the scholarship award. No separate application is required.
