Practical Internship Integrating Theory and Practice

Internships offer students the chance to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world, professional, and multicultural setting.

Students are required to undertake an international internship for a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks at the same company, outside their home schools and home countries, after Term 2. The internship location, along with the student's home country, home school, and exchange school, must encompass at least three different countries. Students are expected to actively secure their internships, which must receive approval from the School before they begin. While internships can take place at a CEMS Corporate Partner, this is not mandatory; students may also intern at non-profit organizations.

The internship must be a full-time position at a professional level (equivalent to an entry-level graduate role), where students are assigned one or more challenging projects that allow for a degree of autonomy. The company will assess and evaluate the students' performance upon completion of the internship.

Students who possess relevant internship or work experience outside their home country (at least 8 weeks of full-time work at an entry-level position) may earn credit for this experience and be exempted from the internship requirement.
